Let's discuss about the internet develop graphic designer nowadays.
Do you think the Internet changed the way graphic designers designs? Well, I'm agreed and think that the internet had changed the way graphic designers design, because nowadays people can easily get resources from the internet, as many designers started to place their masterpieces online.
As what I searched, the software, tools, learning, training, discussions, exchanges of graphic designers changed graphic designers' design from the predigital era to these days.
Before the Internet became a drugs for our daily life, graphic
designers obtained their software tools in product boxes that included
physical-media installers, printed manuals and even a registration card
to return in the mail. With broadband access now widely available, the
box and the installer discs have disappeared, replaced by downloads, PDF
documentation and online registration. Software companies issue
frequent product updates, also available by download (Mott, 2015).
Thus, today's blogs and forums carry the phenomenon onto the public Internet, adding free resources to a global conversation (Mott, 2015). Not only that, the internet also has impacted graphic design in a major way. The internet has created a new medium for design, a new way to collaborate, more opportunities of education and easier way to plagiarize the work from others (Mcelwee, 2015). Of course, designers can be really creative and design without any limitation.
Before internet exist, graphic designers created their designs and evaluate information from old media such as, books, brochures to movie posters, magazine, manuals and product packaging. Today, the well-developed of the internet speed up with the information moves around the online world makes new design trends visible globally, also broadening the influence of trends emerge everywhere across the world (Mott, 2015).
Also, thanks to the advances of technology, designers can develop more impress design to the world.

After research about question 3 and 5, I found that question 5 is too broad, I think I will lost direction, so, I decided to go for question 3 as my essay topic. Here is the question I choose. " What is the relationship between the internet, mobile web, and mobile apps? How are developments in these areas affecting the work of graphic designers or interactive designers? "
Based on question 3 , I will direct answer the question above, as it asked " What is the relationship between the internet, mobile web and mobile apps?" So, I will define and compare the relationship between the internet, mobile web and also mobile apps to have more understanding with it.
Well, what is INTERNET?
INTERNET is the global computer network that use the internet protocol suite (TCP/IP) to link all the devices worldwide. With easy statement of 'what is internet?', means of a computer connecting with any other computer at anywhere in the world through dedicated routers and servers (BusinessDictionary, 2015). When two computers connect to the internet, they can start to send and receive all kind of information and messages towards each other.
What is MOBILE WEB?
MOBILE WEB is refers to the use of browser-based Internet services to access via electric gadgets such as smartphone and tablets (BBC, 2012).
Thus, what is MOBILE APPS?
MOBILE APPS also called as mobile application, it is a software application that specifically run in the smartphone or tablet (Beal, 2015).
After all, I will discuss the developments in these areas affecting the work of graphic designers, I will search more about these areas affect to graphic designers as I am a graphic design student now.

Hello, I'm a degree student at The One Academy. This is a blog to display my research and ideas on one of our subject, Internet Cultures. In this semester, we were given 6 essay questions. For our essay, we were required to choose one of the question to write an essay and also blog. I was interested on a few questions which is question 3 and question 5. I will probably go for question 3 but still I will do research in these two topics to decide which are more informations and interesting facts before I start to do my research blog.

What is the relationship between the internet, mobile web, and mobile apps? How are developments in these areas affecting the work of graphic designers or interactive designers?
I'm curious about what is the relationship between the internet, mobile web and mobile apps. As this era, technologically advanced and well-developed network,new and old generations started using mobile to connect the network, wifi everywhere. We knew network in this world are strong but most of us didn't know what is the relationship between the internet, mobile web, and mobile apps included me. As I'm a graphic design student, I would like to know more what does a graphic designer need to know? How are developments in these areas affecting the work of graphic designers? Is graphic designer have to based on these areas to do work and use internet to enhance our design? Are those well-known designers became famous because of their works were shown it out public on internet?

How do we know if something online is true?
Follow the advance and well-developed network, I should know and learn to determined if something online is true for all of us. It's definitely true that it can be easier to lie online than offline. Can you really trust the people you meet online? Same goes to those information we search from online where no one proves that it is right or wrong because internet is free, internet users can simply update information from what they knew and think. Some of the information can misleading others and also gave wrong information to others. These are serious if internet users easily trust on it without further research. As I'm a graphic design student, I would like to go for the online advertising and how to avoid scam.
